This policy describes how ArcShorts - Mini Series (package name com.arcshorts.shortdramas) treats information when you watch mini-series, browse Discover, or set ArcShorts as your Home app. In this document, “ArcShorts,” “the app,” “we,” and “us” mean the product and its operator.
1. Who operates ArcShorts
MAVLONA LLC is the data controller for ArcShorts.
Published office: 17645 OLD HIGHWAY 80, EDWARDS, MS 39066, United States.
Privacy questions and data-rights requests: latonia@mavlona.site.
2. What information is collected
We collect only what is needed to run, maintain, improve, and support the free, ad-funded app.
2.1 Device, use, and diagnostics
We and the providers that help run ArcShorts may process:
- Technical details about the phone and the app, including model, Android version, ArcShorts version, language, time zone, display settings, and whether you are on Wi-Fi or mobile data.
- Advertising identifiers, when your device settings and applicable law allow it.
- How the app is used: screens opened, titles and episodes played, playback actions, search, Home screen and feature use, ad events, and performance signals.
- Stability data such as crash logs, error reports, and performance traces.
This data lets the app function, stay stable, show relevant content, serve and measure ads, and understand which features people actually use.
App installation identifier. ArcShorts generates a random identifier for each app installation. It is not your Android ID, advertising ID, IMEI, phone number, or account identifier. It is used for episode list and playback authorization requests, and is also sent with code searches and ad impression events to our first-party analytics service (see ArcShorts Analytics in section 2.3 below). It is not used for profiling or account identification. The local identifier is removed when you clear the app’s data or uninstall the app.
2.2 Home app and on-device data
If you use ArcShorts as a Home app, it needs a limited view of other apps so the desktop and app drawer can work.
Which apps are visible. ArcShorts uses Android’s normal package-visibility rules, not a full inventory of every package on the phone. It looks up:
- Apps that can appear on a home screen or in an app drawer.
- Certain role apps (for example Maps and Calendar) used when building a default layout.
What stays on the phone. Layout choices and viewing data are stored locally (databases and preferences), including:
- Home screen layout and shortcut choices.
- Saved titles (My List / favorites).
- Watch progress and history so you can resume an episode.
You can remove that local data by clearing storage for ArcShorts in system settings: Settings → Apps → ArcShorts → Storage & cache → Clear storage / Clear data. Uninstalling the app also removes it.
How installed-app data is treated.
- Installed-app information is processed on the device.
- We do not send your installed-app list to our servers.
- We do not intentionally sell or provide that list to advertisers, analytics vendors, or other third parties.
- We do not use that list to profile you, target ads, or run behavioral analysis.
ArcShorts does not require an account. Likes, theme, language, and similar preferences also stay on the device unless a feature needs the network (for example playing video or loading ads).
2.3 Ads, measurement, and attribution
Watching is free, so short ads may appear. Advertising, mediation, and attribution partners may process limited technical data such as advertising identifiers, IP address, device details, in-app events, ad requests, impressions, clicks, revenue events, attribution signals, and fraud-prevention signals. Each partner applies its own privacy policy and platform rules.
Which network fills an ad can change with your region, device settings, consent choices, and inventory. Ads are typically delivered through AppLovin MAX mediation. Where the law allows, those partners may use the data above to show, cap, personalize, measure, and protect ads.
Install source and campaign performance are measured with AppsFlyer. Google’s install referrer may be used as part of that measurement.
Clipboard and codes. ArcShorts may read the clipboard once when it returns to the foreground, solely to recognize ArcShorts share links; anything else is ignored immediately and is neither stored nor uploaded, and recognized links are handled on your device only. When you submit a search, the keyword you enter is sent to our servers to match share codes and return the related title.
ArcShorts Analytics (our own first-party service): Supports share-code matching, ad performance statistics, app stability diagnostics, and fraud prevention. It processes anonymous technical information, such as a random per-installation identifier, device brand and model, OS version, language, and app events such as searches and ad impressions. We do not use it to collect directly identifying information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
2.4 Information we do not ask for
ArcShorts does not request camera, contacts, phone, SMS, precise location, or external-storage permissions. We do not collect your phone number, IMEI, contact list, photos, files, precise GPS location, or payment card details. There is no in-app login, coin shop, or VIP checkout.
On Android 13 and later, the app may ask for notification permission so we can send occasional drama recommendations. You can decline; core watching and Home screen features still work.
3. Why we use this information
Collected information is used to:
- Provide Home screen, app drawer, search, shortcuts, Shorts, Discover, and playback.
- Improve recommendations and the overall experience.
- Measure usage, stability, performance, and whether features work as intended.
- Show, frequency-cap, and measure advertisements.
- Attribute installs and understand campaign results.
- Detect and handle fraud, abuse, security problems, and technical faults.
- Answer support and privacy requests.
4. Service providers
We do not sell your personal information. We work with vendors that help operate, analyze, advertise, attribute, and improve ArcShorts.
Depending on the build and your region, the app may include:

- Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Remote Config — crash reporting, stability, and remote configuration. Policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

Those services handle data under their own policies. We do not intentionally provide your installed-app list to any third-party SDK or service.
5. When information is shared
We share limited information with service providers only as needed to run the app, deliver content, show and measure ads, analyze performance, attribute installs, prevent fraud, and meet legal duties.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws treat certain personalized advertising or measurement as “sharing” or “targeted advertising.” Where those laws apply, we provide or honor choices through device settings, platform controls, consent flows, or partner tools.
We do not intentionally share your installed-app list, and we do not use it for advertising or analytics.
6. Security and how long we keep data
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted transmission where it applies.
Information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, or longer if the law requires or allows it. Local history, My List, likes, and Home layout remain on the device until you clear app data or uninstall.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may be able to:
- Ask for access to personal information we process about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Object to or limit certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis.
- Control advertising identifiers and ad personalization in device settings.
- Reset or delete your advertising ID, limit ad personalization, or use Google Play ad-privacy controls where they are available.
To make a request, email latonia@mavlona.site. Include your Android version and the ArcShorts version (Settings or Help & about) when the request is about the app. We aim to respond to valid requests within 30 days, unless a different period is required by law.
7.1 Home app settings and uninstall
If ArcShorts is your default Home app, you can switch to another launcher at any time: Settings → Apps → Default apps → Home app. You can also open Help in ArcShorts and use the option to return to your original home screen.
You can uninstall ArcShorts from Google Play when a listing is available, or from system settings (Settings → Apps → ArcShorts → Uninstall). If the device requires another Home app first, choose a different default Home app, then uninstall.
8. Children
ArcShorts is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
People between 13 and 18 should use the app only with a parent or guardian’s consent where the law requires it.
9. Processing outside your country
We or our providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for that processing.
10. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy when our practices, the product, legal rules, or platform requirements change. This version reflects the advertising partners that may serve ads through AppLovin MAX, and it names AppsFlyer as the attribution service used by ArcShorts. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice in the app or by another suitable means.
